2015 plans… for now anyway!
Just like they say in NE…
wait 10 minutes and the weather will change!
Well, for the "SToP"…
it's wait a season and the hours will change!
I will have to say it's a little scary changing to
once a month markets!
…time to reflect on what's working & what's not!
in life & business!
I admit it… I'm at burnout stage!
After 21 1/2 years in business and since making
it our living, which adds a lot of pressure &
removes much of the fun & inspiration…
it's time to reflect & make changes &
bring back the CReAtIviTy!
So, as we start 2015 and making plans for
The Whistle Stop I will be sharing my thoughts,
our changes & wishes & goals here on the blog!
Under the new heading of…
I invite you to drop by for a short read each week
as we work on the goals for life & business.
admittedly this is more for me, than you…

Twinkle Night! … is almost here!
For those who haven't joined us for Twinkle Night before,
let me give you a quick course on what it is all about!
Twinkle Night… 101
Twinkle Night is always held on the
first Monday in December. It is an evening to
celebrate & share in the Spirit of the Season!
It is a combination of a customer appreciation & a charity event! We deck the store in her best winter attire…
twinkling lights & a dusting of snow!
The festivities begin @ 5:30 and the shuffle into the the store begins! If we are lucky enough to have fair, winter weather the line to get into our little store may be long!
(one never knows!… just want to give you fair warning!)
Wear your woolens & bring your patience… just in case!
You'll find treats & spirits & we'll have the
cocoa hot & a campfire to keep you toasty!
We offer raffle tickets for sale, for a chance to win prizes donated by The Whistle Stop & a few of our elves!
The proceeds of the raffles will be donated to a local family,
making their holidays a little brighter!
The tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00.
The grand prize ticket is $10.00 for one chance to win
a secret prize that the Mr. is working on!
We draw the winning tickets @ the end of the evening!
(Do not need to be present to win!)
There are door prizes too!
Ways to win…
#1 if you have a star on your receipt you win a door prize!
#2 find a lucky twinkling star hidden in the shop,
