Lions! Tigers! Bears!

OH, my!!!

Fall! Halloween! Christmas!

My summer is quickly coming to an end.

I’ll be back at school (work) this week &

the busy season at The Whistle Stop is just

around the corner! As if we didn’t have enough

on our plate we pilled on more servings!

We applied to be in the Autumn Festival

at the Qwest Center, downtown Omaha.

I saw today that our check was cashed

so I believe that means we’re in!

Oh, my!

But, wait... you haven’t heard it all yet!

It is the same dates as our own

Holiday Open House!

Yes, you heard that right.

I thought last year doing our Fall Open House back

to back with the Junk Bonanza was tough and we

weren’t even open on Saturdays then. I guess

there isn’t anything that we can’t accomplish with

a little hard work, (ok... alot)

a little help from our Whistle Stop elves, (ok... alot)

and a little bit of caffine. (ok... a boat load!)

Bring on the Starbucks,

the season has begun!

Oh, my...

... a few positive thoughts & prayers

thrown our way couldn’t hurt either!

(ok... more than a few!)

  1. Oh my gosh, you are going to be one busy gal! I know you'll pull it all off though. Most of all, have yourself some fun, Dawn

  2. Positive thoughts and prayers heading your way! It's a lot of work, but at least it's something you love! Good luck making it all happen. Hope you get a chance to share along the way.

  3. I know you can do this! And I know you will do it well! Are you a vendor at Junk Bonanza? I'll see you there!

  4. How? are you going to be in two places at once!? I guess the little elves you mentioned. Good luck on it all! I wish I could be one of your little elves! Lezlee

  5. Yes, Lezlee... lot's of elves! I plan on being at the shop our first day and my husband and friend will be at the Qwest. That's as far as I've gotten. Need to start recruiting and drawing up a schedule! Things always get done... maybe not without exhaustion and mental health issues! Ha!

  6. You sure do have a lot on your plate...if you need another elf...I'm just down the road ;o)

    Hugs, Andrea
