The sleepless nights paid off
as the shop's displays came together,
looking very much like Fall had
arrived. Everything was ready by
the strike of 10:00 on
Thursday morning!
It was great to meet fellow Blogger,
Connie from She Dreams Big & to
see Brenda again from Pine Tree Prims.
It was also great to meet Phil and Linda
from Sweet Annie's Primitives in Roca, NE.
Jolene from Weathered and Worn
Country Store of Papillion, NE and
Deb from Country Sampler, of Omaha
visited too. It is always a great complement
when other store owners take time
away from their "to do list" to visit
our little bit of a country store!
And of course I wish I could name
each and everyone of our wonderful,
tide & true customers that come to
The Whistle Stop's open houses.
Rain or shine, Spring, Summer or Fall,
year after year, they come and shop
with wonderful things to say...
... and that makes us do it
again and again and again!

ReplyDeleteIt was so nice to finally meet you! Your little shop is the best but I think we need to come on the first day next year! There is nothing more fun than the anticipation of getting to the good stuff before someone else! What do you have in store for us for Christmas?
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are great Laurie!! But it was so much better in person!! I'm sure glad that I was there within a couple of hours after you opened, looks like I might have missed a bench...ha! I still have to get my purchases posted, I was hoping to do that before the show was over but I didn't get that accomplished. Thanks for the plug and also thanks for mentioning the other couple of people. I am now following them and never even heard of those stores before so thanks for sharing!

Thanks! Yup, going all out for Witch's Nite Out - only two weeks away. It has been such fun decorating this year, trying something a little different for a change. Wish you could come join in the fun, Dawn
